This winter, the University of Duisburg-Essen introduces two exciting master project courses designed to tackle pressing societal issues through digital innovation. One of these projects will be in collaboration with prominent new partners, offering students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world settings. 

1. Project A - Developing a Sustainability App with Change Clubs 

In collaboration with Change Clubs, students will directly support them in building their MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for a web app aimed at promoting sustainable living. This project gives students the opportunity to work in groups that will tackle technical development, product research, and user testing, providing a comprehensive experience in startup-like project management. 

2. Project B - YOUR Digital Venture 

This project offers students the freedom to develop their own digital venture that will tackle the sustainable developmental goals (SDGs). Working in small teams, students will validate a business model, create an MVP, and participate in the Startup Olympics. This intensive experience will hone their skills in problem research, market analysis, and business model development.

Basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and digital technologies is recommended.
