AI mentor supports students in founding: our chair joins EIT project for social entrepreneurship
How does a good idea become a viable business model with societal added value? Artificial intelligence will soon guide students along this path. Our chair is part of the new European project "AURORA seizmic EIT-KIC", in which the existing seizmic APP is being developed into an AI-supported mentoring environment. Around 4,000 students in Europe are expected to benefit.
The AI mentor doesn't provide ready-made answers. It helps students ask the right questions at the right time. The focus is on social entrepreneurship, for example in climate and environmental technologies, digitalization, sustainable production and health. UDE pilot users can test the new offers from spring 2027, and in summer semester 2027 the mentor will be part of the course "Entrepreneurship with Purpose", which is open to bachelor students of all disciplines.
